  1. Press Q to quit all these demos.
  2. !Balls and !Starfield are pretty insubstantial.
  3. Most will not work without the rest of the disk!
  4. Remove one and the others may stop functioning.
  5. HINT - if these demos look flikery, and jerky,
  6. try resetting your archie/A3000 by turning it off
  7. completely. This usualy happens because the 
  8. soundtracker player module has decided not to work.

  14. Use all of these routines how you like, execpt in
  15. commercial software, but TELL ME!

  19. I wrote all of the routines in these demos execpt
  20. the one I pinched of other people. (screen bank switching
  21. sound tracker routine and keyboard reading are not mine).

  23. Don't use the really fast scrolly routine, please.
  24. !A is the most important application, it is a
  25. version of !SYSTEM, but the !Boot file has been
  26. replaced with the !Run file so that it always sets
  27. itself as the !SYSTEM path when you look at the
  28. disk. This is useful, don't you always get trubs
  29. when the system directory is wrong like, "Please
  30. insert that disk which you have forgotten you
  31. had, because the last time you used it was to load
  32. !EDIT this morning, yep, the one thats under the
  33. stack of pubic hair in the corner off your room
  34. that only you want to go in anymore." - OTT but
  35. all the more horrible as it happens to be true.
  36. It's being made into a film later this year.

  41. to pretend they do some work, so write messages on Readme files ...........
